ISLAMABAD: In Pakistan annual production of honey is about 10,000 tons and about 15-20 per cent of honey is lost due to the ignorance of the hunters and traditional beekeepers.

The traditional beekeepers have very little knowledge about the extraction and processing of honey and they need to be imparted proper training in order to produce maximum honey.
