Cheers to ATRL, profits surged by 55pct

KARACHI: The net profits of Attock Refinery Limited (ATRL) surged by sizzling 55 percent to Rs 2,322.00 million during the first half of the financial year 1HFY12 against Rs 1,502.15 million recorded in the same period last year.
The oil refinery company posted healthy financial result owing to better product mix with higher weightage of High Speed Diesel (HSD) and Motor Spirit (MS) which contributed to strong earnings growth in its refinery operations in 1HFY12.
