Pakistan cotton rates unchanged

KARACHI: Pakistan cotton prices remained unchanged amid improved trading volumes on Tuesday as exporters were participating actively on account of expecting increase in demand by cotton importing countries.
The Karachi Cotton Association (KCA) official spot rates were unchanged and close at the level of Rs 5,700 per maund. The rates of seed cotton in Sindh were Rs 1,800 and Rs 2,400, while in Punjab, cotton rates were Rs 2,000 and Rs 2,700 dealers said.
