Why Socialism is Alien to Islam

Socialism in its quest to tame capitalists brought one big capitalist in the form of government accredited with the responsibility to operate, manage and administer the overall economy without giving society and individuals any recourse to challenge the government.
In such a case, no government, consisting of humans after all, can keep itself judiciously pursuing common goals over individual goals. Socialism kills the self motive which drives individuals to excel and be efficient.
