Islamic banking shares 7.3pct of overall banking industry in Pakistan

KARACHI: The Islamic bankingIndustry (IBI) is growing in Pakistan with considerable growth as the people of Pakistan have shown immense interest in the Shariah Compliant banking system. The total assets of the Islamic banking industry currently stand at Rs. 568 billion, constituting 7.3 percent share of overall banking industry.
