Munda dam to generate 740mw power

ISLAMABAD: The Munda dam will store 1.29 million acre feet of water to irrigate more than 15,000 acres land and contribute 740 MW cheap electricity to the national grid.
An official of Water and Power Ministry told APP on Tuesday that the reservoir will play a vital role in protecting Nowshera and Charsadda from flood by storing the water of River Swat during peak season.
