Cotton Assessment Committee to meet today

ISLAMABAD: Cotton Crop Assessment Committee (CCAC) will meet on December 20, 2011 (Tuesday) to make an estimation of the cotton production in the country.
Cotton Development Commissioner, Dr Khalid Abdullah said Federal Minister would chair the second meeting of the committee for Textile industry Makhdoom Shahabudin. Provincial agriculture departments, representatives of All Pakistan Textile Mills Association, Cotton Ginners Association and progressive farmers would give their estimates in the meeting, he added.
