Abbott Labs declares 40pct dividend

KARACHI: The Abbott Laboratories Ltd has posted a record profit after tax of Rs 1.644 billion for 13 months ending December 31, 2011 and declared a final cash dividend of Rs 4 per share.


According to financial results of the pharmaceutical company despatched to Karachi Stock Exchange here Tuesday, the profit before tax has surged to Rs 2.374 billion during the period under review as against Rs 1.741 in 2010.
