14mln bales cotton production recorded

KARACHI: The cotton production is recorded 14 million bales during this year which is the highest level of production in the country, a local TV channel reported on Saturday.
Executive member of Pakistan Cotton & Ginners Association (PCGA), Ahsan ul-Haq revealed that such massive growth of cotton bales has crossed eight years record which was witnessed in 2004 as the only in Punjab the cotton production has increased by 50 percent to 11.4 million bales.
