Business community rejects POL price hike

LAHORE: The business community here Wednesday rejected recent increase in thepetroleum prices and demanded the government to bring down the petroleum prices immediately to ensure economic revival in the country.
Pakistan Industrial and Traders Associations Front (PIAF) Chairman Sohail Lashari, Auto Parts Manufacturers & Exporters Association Chairman Tahir Javed Malik and Lahore Township Industries Association Chairman Iftikhar Bashir Chaudhry here Wednesday said there was almost no production in the industrial estates due to power and gas loadshedding while recent increase in petroleum and diesel prices would give another blow to industry.
