KMI: Bulls gain strength amid volumes

KARACHI: The Halal stocks KMI 30 index gain 498.77 points on Monday to close at 21,936.35 points as against 21,437.58 points, the closing figure of the previous session.
Market had a brisk start to the week after positive news came for the market on Saturday with relaxation on Capital Gains Tax (CGT) announced by Finance Minister. Volumes rocketed to a record high and even surpassed the last week’s performance. Green was the only color across price charts and all-out bullish rally was seen on a day completely dominated by bulls.
