Bangladesh trade deficit widens as fuel import rises-cenbank

DHAKA: Bangladesh’s trade deficit In July-September, the first quarter of the current fiscal year, widened more than 23 percent to $1.81 billion compared to the same period of last year, as the country's fuel oil import increased sharply, a central bank official said on Monday.
