Fragile economy needs Pak-US relations

KARACHI: PAK–US relations remained unpleasant throughout the year 2011, but tensions heightened after the US led NATO attack on salala check post on 26 November 2011. Civilian and military leadership took it very seriously and stopped the supplies of NATO following the other restrictions immediately. In response, US freezed Aid of $ 700 million to Pakistan which at least in the short run is a setback for economy.
