India's Nov industrial output rises 5.9 pct

NEW DELHI: India's industrial output rose a better-than-expected 5.9 percent in November from a year earlier, rebounding from an annual contraction of 4.7 percent (revised from 5.1 percent) a month earlier. Economists had forecast an annual rise of 2.2 percent.
