PICT reports improved profits

KARACHI: The net profits of Pakistan International Container Terminal Ltd (PICT) crawled up by 21 percent during the first six months of financial year 2011 as it reported a net profit after tax of Rs 699.69 million against Rs 576.11 million recorded in same period last year.
The company during the reviewed period observed the continuity in growth in container handling volumes and revenues.
